This course will look at the motives for and perpetrators of cybercrime as an introduction to cyber security. You will explore how individuals and organisations face specific cyber threats and examine the security measures to protect physical and digital access through people, infrastructure, and computer systems. 

By the end of the course, you will have developed the knowledge and skills to: 
  • Understand the types of cyber threats and the motivations of cyber actors
  • Understand how cyber attacks are evolving. 
  • Understand how to protect yourself and your organisation against cyber attacks through the application of good protection practices.
